Corm's Wisdom: Playing Adirondack is like playing a course in the Myrtle Beach area. This is the most underrated golf course in the area. It is beautiful from start to finish. My biggest regret is having only played it twice. I love the layout and pine trees that line the course. Narrow fairways make it one of the top challenges in Vermont and up state New York. You will not be disappointed. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: Barre was my favorite place to play last year. Highlights include the 2nd shot to the 2nd green, the narrow 6th fairway and trying to putt on the 18th green. From Tee box to Green no course was in better shape for my money. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: Home to one of the best teaching pros in the state, Mike Swim. The toughest hole for me is the par four 11th. Even if you crush the ball it is still tough to get to the green in 2. One of my favorite Par 3's in the state is Hole number 7 with the pond on the left. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: I’m ashamed to admit it but I have never had the chance to play Green Mountain golf course. I do know that it was recently voted the number one public course in Vermont and that is huge. There are so many great public courses in the state. Congrats to Green Mountain and I promise I will play a round this summer and let you all know my thoughts. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: Another great teaching pro, Steve Gonsalves. Once again, one of my top courses. The greens are as good at the Links as they are at Vermont National. Play golf in 3 hours, now that’s a concept. You will use all of your clubs at the Links with many par 3’s and a few select par 4’s. Great practice facilities as well. Favorite holes include the Par 3 second and the Par 4 12th. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: I’ve only had the chance to play Montague once but I loved the back nine. It reminds me of a links course. As you can tell I am a big fan of Par 3’s and the 10th with the elevated tee is top 5 on my list. They have done a lot of work on the course and I understand that they have upgraded most of the greens. Can’t wait to get back to see all the changes. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: Some spectacular holes but demanding as well. Elevation changes with sloping fairways and greens, this is a course you have to play several times or at least play a round with a member to get the bounces and breaks down. This is one course you must play in the fall. Played with Tony Olivia and Steve Lyons several years ago at Sugarbush. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: The home of the Corm and the Coach golf tournament. Geoff and the crew upgrade a section of the course each year. The new tee box on the 4th will make it tough to get to the green in one. The Bell hole is one of my favorites in the state. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: This is one of my top 5 all time favorite courses. Living in Vergennes for several years, I fell in love with Basin Harbor while playing the longest day of golf. Pristine is the word that comes to mind. I always play golf Fathers Day with my sons at the Harbor. Favorite holes, the 1st, 8th and 17th. Click here for more.

Corm's Wisdom: Great golf school and the course is a must play. Another place with great practice facilities and pro shop. This is a very challenging golf course with elevation changes. Lots of blind shots to the greens but let me make it clear, you will love playing this course. The greens are top 5. Favorite holes include the 6th, 8th and the 14th along the river. Corm's Wisdom: Play it straight or you are in trouble from the get go. Be prepared to use your irons, especially your 3 Iron to punch out from under the trees. I love the back nine because of the 3 Par 3's including the 16th with the water in front. The course is always in great shape including the greens.

Corm's Wisdom: Where do you begin? The Clubhouse, the fairways, the greens, the practice facilities, the views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks, with Vermont National you have the entire package in one place. When you score well on this course you can play anywhere. Just beware of the southern wind, better known as the golf humblelation god. The par 3 13th is one of the prettiest holes in the state. My favorites include the par 5 second, the 6th, 11th and 18th. Click here for more.
